Its very boring and super bakwaas movie

First thing i did while watching movie was i called my mom and told her not to go. All analyst are are giving it three stars on just name of Benegal.

Movie reaction :

1. Yawn Yawn.

2. People were bagging for interval

3. It should have ended where interval was.

4. See Lapataganj on sab tv. It has same episode few days back. IT was 100 times better.

Scheduled for a release on March 26, 2010, Reliance Big Picture is all set to cash moolah from the anticipated success of Well Done Abba after the glorious triumph of “Three idiots” and “Paa”. The movie is produced by the veteran director, Shyam Benegal and majorly shot in Hyderabad. The star cast of the movie has some prominent names like Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba, Ravi Kissen, Ila Arun, Sameer Dattani, Sonali Kulkarni and Rajat Kapoor amongst others. The song “Sandesa” sung by Shreya Ghoshal is appealing.

The story is influenced by ‘Narsaiyyan Ki Bavdi’ by Jeelani Bano, ‘Phulwa Ka Pul’ by Sanjeev and ‘Still Waters’, a screenplay by Jayant Kripalani. The film has won critical compliments around the world and also from the recently concluded Dubai Film Festival.

The movie stars Boman Irani in double role, obviously doubling up the comedy of errors. The story revolves around the central character of the movie, Armaan Ali (played by Boman Irani), a driver working for a Senior Executive in Mumbai. Armaan takes self extended leave for 3 months, unaware of the fact that he returns, his job will be threatened as his employer wants to sack him. During his leaves, Armaan wants to find a suitable groom for his daughter, Minissha Lamba, who stays with his brother Rehman (Boman Irani again) and his wife Salma (IIa Arun).

Armaan however has an interesting and hilarious story to cover up for his reason for the delay in return. The story is a paradoxical comedy and a political spoof on several projects initiated by the government for developmental purposes but which get plagued by the corruption in the system. Armaan obtains a government scheme to build a well in his agricultural plot of land leading to matters twirling to the extent that the government is about to crumple.

Sameer Dattani plays a mechanic in the movie and prepared for the role by doing the stint in a garage closer to his home. Ravi Kissen is the sex freak sub engineer in the movie.

Does Armaan finally convince his employer and gets his job back? How all these characters intertwine in this slapstick comedy is an interesting sequence to watch.

The film is not only a complete entertainer but is also believed to leave a message in its own understated way.
