Gumshuda is a film directed by ashok viswanathan. The movie stars Victor Banerjee, Rajat Kapoor, Priyanshu Chatterjee, Raj Zutshi, Simone Singh, N. Viswanathan, x Anup Hazarika, Simone Singh, Sudeep Mukherjee, Simon Wilson, Punyadarshan Gupta, Manjushree Ganguly, Iqbal Sultan, Papiya Sen, Fatima Zareen.

The story revolves around a beautiful young lady of thirties. Her name was Anisha. Someone was sending her a handful of diamonds by courier. This was really shocking for her. Captain Mehta who was her father has vanished few years ago. She links this diamond incident to a clue to get back his father. The lady worked as singer in a night club. But for her father she became an unprofessional detective. She seeks help from Prashant Saigal and Dr. Arvind Rao.

The trio group went to Gautam Dutt who was delivering the courier. The role of young lady was acted by Simone Singh and the role of Arvind was done by Priyanshu Chatterjee.

Gautam singh told them about an ‘Agra treasure’.  They set to Shillong in search of Agra treasure and to find out mystery behind the death of captain Mehta. In Shillong, they halted in the house of colonel Dutt who was the father of Gautam Dutt.

Gautam Dutt expired on seeing a weird face on the window side. In the process, Anisha and Arvind came closer. The rest of the story proceeds to tell how they uncover the Agra treasure mystery and the death secret of captain Mehta. In the mission they also unveiled may other murder stories. The movie is full of suspense.

Songs were fantastic composed by Bikram Ghosh as well as directed by him only. But even after this, the movie lacked script. The dialogues were not so unique or impressive.  After this what we can say is that nothing lacked with the film but yet it couldn’t show its magic at box-office.
