Antardwand is a Hindi movie of 2010 directed by Sushil Rajpal. The movie stars Vinay Pathak, Raj Singh chaudhary, Akhilendra Mishra, Swati Sen, Himanshi, Nilima and Jaya Bhattacharya,. Antardwand reveal the issue of kidnapping of eligible bachelors and how they are forced to marry with a girl whom he doesn’t want to. This kind of practice is very common in north India.

Raghuveer’s girl friend got accidentally pregnant. But his father didn’t allow him to marry his girl friend. He was about to give civil service exams. So, he left his hometown Bihar and was on his way to Delhi but suddenly he was kidnapped by an ambitious father who wanted his daughter to marry a potential IAS officer. He got married to his daughter unwillingly. After their marriage they were locked in the room until and unless they accepted each other as their life partner.

It is an insight to the reality to groom abduction that is very common in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. The film is really touching and will cause different kinds of emotions in you. Though it is a low cost film but story of this film is completely unique. This movie was the debut film of the director sushil rajpal. The director cleverly captures the atmosphere well.

From the very beginning to the end, movie is absolutely realistic.  Although after the interval the story is idle but still it is worth watching till the end. Although it is the debut movie of the star cast, they managed to do a good job. Raj Singh chaudhary had done a very natural acting. Even Swati Sen have done a good job.

If you are really pissed off with the same old stories of Hindi movie, then there is no doubt that ‘Anthardwand’ will really impress you.
