Sunny Deol is amongst the best and talented actors in Bollywood. Born as Ajay Singh Deol on 19 October 1961 he is the eldest son of superstar actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. His brother is actor Bobby Deol and his cousin is actor Abhay Deol. He has two sisters Ajita and Vijeyta as well as two half sisters from the gorgeous actress Hema Malini who his father re-married. They are Esha and Ahana Deol who he doesn’t like to be associated with. Sunny has been married for years to Pooja Deol and has two children.

Sunny Deol Sunny’s main fan following is in the Northern part of India and a huge part of his career had him playing roles as an action hero. He made a successful debut in 1983 in the movie Betaab with Amrita Singh. His next successful movie was Arjun which got him recognized. It was his movie Ghayal that made him a superstar overnight.

A few of the successful movies in Sunny’s career were: Paap Ki Duniya, Tridev, Chaalbaaz, Vishwatma, Vardi, Damini, Dacait, Yateem, Narsimha, Lootere, Darr, Jeet, Ghatak, Ajay, Ziddi, Border, Gadar, Apne, Heores and Dillagi. He will next be seen in ‘The Man’ in 2010.

Sunny has always maintained a low profile by hardly getting into any controversies and has managed to keep away from the media glare avoiding unnecessary attention. Having tasted success early in his career especially in the nineties, the latter half of his career seems to be moving very slow. He’s unfazed with the comparisons to his talented father and to his brother. The film industry is well aware of Sunny’s acting capabilities and although his movies in recent times may not have been box office grosser, his talented performances will always be remembered and draw loyal fans to the cinema halls.
