Review:
Soundtrack features Rajeev Khandelwal and Soha Ali Khan in the lead. This is Rajeev’s third movie after ‘Aamir’ and ‘Shaitaan’ while Soha will be back on the silver screen after a span of one year her last release was ‘Tera Kya Hoga Johnny’ in 2010.
The story is about Raunak Kaul played by Rajeev Khandelwal who is a highly talented DJ and musician at the peak of his career and suddenly the scenario around him changes when he is diagnosed with a hearing disorder that leads him to becoming completely deaf leading to depression and career downfall. Then Gauri played by Soha who is born deaf comes to his life and brings him from the darker side to ultimately helping him in making music again.
Music and lyrics for the movie is done by Midval Punditz an Indian fusion group consisting of two Delhi based musicians Gaurav Raina and Tapan Raj and Karsh Kale an Indian American musician. The music of the movie has not been such a hit or made it to the chartbuster it’s just been average.
The movie releases on 7th of October along with ‘Love Breakups Zindagi’ both the movies are going to attract minimum crowds with big release ‘Rascals’ releasing a day before which will see audience pour in because of the star cast in it, so the competition will be solely among themselves as to who attracts maximum crowd. But still anything can happen may be because of the low expectations the movie may perform good, depending on the story and the screenplay if it interests the audience rather than make them reach the state of boredom.
