Review:
Rascals is a multi starrer movie package featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Kangna Ranaut and Lisa Haydon. The movie is comedy and has some action too making it action pack comedy flick.
The story revolves around Bhagat Bhosle played by Ajay Devgn and Chetan Chauhan played by Sanjubaba, both are conmen who try to compete with each other and pull one another’s leg consistently wooing Khushi played by Kangna Ranaut . The model turned actress Lisa Haydon seen in a seductive role in this comic flick flaunting a pink bikini coming out of the pool for a song is already making many heads turn. While the character of Arjun Rampal who plays Anthony Gonsalves in the movie is still unknown.
The music of the film is done by the famous duo Vishal-Shekhar . It has six tracks with lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil and Anvita Dutt Guptan. The songs ‘Tik-Tuk’ sung by Daler Mehndi, Vishal Dadlani, Monali Thakur and ‘Rascals’ sung by Neeraj Shridhar is already a chartbuster.
The flick also had its part in controversies with Kangna Ranaut’s absence at the music launch of the film there were many rumours following this story with sources saying that “Kangna was flaunting her friendship with Ajay and Baba to others for quite a while now which irked the stars and their wives Kajol and Manyata too”
While Sanjay Ahluwalia, the co-producer of the film has a different story to say he states that” there is no controversy between the actors and Kangna but her unprofessionalism as the reason for her being sidelined out of the promotions of the film”.
Other story says that “Kangna wanted a price hike and for that she left the dubbing half way and refused to co-operate unless her fees were hiked” and the makers have now filed a complaint against her in CINTAA.
With all these controversies behind the back this multi-starrer movie which is releasing this dussera i.e on 6th of oct with the direction of the master of comic movies David Dhawan and actors like Ajay Devgn and Munnabhai will surely tickle your bones. But will it meet its expectations or bomb will be known sooner than later.
