Kangana Amardeep Ranaut is one of the best actresses in Bollywood. This beauty from Himanchal Pradesh was born on 20 March 1987. She’s known for her unconventional looks and long curly black hair. Mostly having done a lot of off beat movies and delivered power packed performances she was born to Asha and Amardeep in Mandi. Her siblings are elder sister Rangoli and younger brother Akshit.

She started her career as a model and then became a theatre artist. She made her debut with the 2006 movie Gangster. After that there was no looking back for her. Some of her successful movies were Who Lamhe, Fashion, Raaz-The Mystery Continues. She will next be seen in the much awaited released of 2010 Kites opposite Hrithik Roshan, Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, No Problem, Tanu Weds Manu and Knock Out in.

Kangana has also tried her luck in South Movies but hasn’t gotten the kind of reviews she received in Bollywood. She faced a few controversies in the early phase of her career. Aditya Pancholi claimed that she used him as a means to become successful and dumped him when she did, to which he took offense.

She was dating Aadhyaman Suman, Shekhar Suman’s son. After a much-publicized romance the couple called it quits after the success of the movie Raax. Aadhyaman’s family opposed his liaison with Kangana and stated that he wanted to focus on his career. A heartbroken Kangana had no choice but to take the break up in her stride.

She excelled in any role given to her and is a Director’s dream. Mostly known to work with the Bhatt’s, she moved on to do movies with other makers as well. Kanagana’s movies have given her a lot praise and rave reviews from critics and audiences worldwide.
