Just in case you thought that the Himesh Reshamiya fever is over with Mann ka Radio, you are wrong; the new and improved version of Himesh (read Himesh minus his cap) is back with Kajraare. Not deterred by three consecutive flops, Himesh experiments with yet another film, Kajraare.

Directed by Pooja Bhatt, the movie is produced by the T series fame Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Johny Bakshi. The movie will prove to be a double bonanza for all Himesh fans as he is not only the main lead of the film; but has also composed the music. Known for his style of casting only new girls, Himesh doesn’t break the norm with Kajraare when he casts Mona Laizza (the popular Smriti Irani of the Pakistani TV) as the female lead opposite him. The movie also stars Amrita Singh, Adnan Shah, Natasha Sinha, Gaurav Chanana, Jawed Sheikh and Gulshan Grover. The story of the movie is penned down by Shagufta Rafique. According to Himesh the music of the movie is going to be a record breaker.

Kajraare is a beautiful love story set at the backdrop of Jordan and Dubai. Himesh plays the role of a lawyer who falls in love with Mona Laizza in Morocco. One fine day, she disappears under mysterious circumstances and Himesh frantically traces her in Heera Mandi, a red light area in Pakistan and learns about her past. The character in Mona Laizza spans a lot of emotions. Kajraare is a story which circles around how both discover true love for each other. A completely commercial film, it is story with a heart which will make hearts melt.

T series has announced October 16, 2010 as the tentative date of release. The catchy tagline of the movie “ A man trying to run away from his past, a woman trying to escape her future’ will definitely catch the attention of Himesh’s fans. What happens to the fate of the movie? Will the movie be a debacle at the box office just like his last few movies? Slow and steady wins the race, Himesh certainly seems to be living by this maxim.
