Review:
Happi is a family film starring Pankaj Kapur. The movie is a tribute to the legendary Charlie Chaplin.
The story is about Pankaj Kapur playing a Chaplin-esque character, whose needs are few and is comfortable being a misfit who don’t like to be sad. He stays in Mumbai and earns by singing and making people laugh at ‘Cafe Bombay’ where he works.
But suddenly things change around him when the Café is revamped into ‘Club Mumbai’- a Market Lounge, but he refuses to be let down by the circumstances and his strong self belief to see the brighter side in the problems lets him find an unlikely friend in a puppy who starts following him wherever he goes and never leaves his side.
The Music of the film is done by the Maestro Illayraja surely assures u some good musical tracks.
The film releasing on the 14th of October is not going to attract the regular cine goers as it is not a romantic, action or a comedy film they wish to see. The script has got some content and it will be a movie worth watching only if you wish to see something different from the usual.
