Finally the wait is going to be over! After the success of the controversial song from the film “Bhaag DK Bose”, the long awaited, Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly is going to hit the theatres across India on July 1, starring Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan and Shenaz Treasurywala.

Away from the league of providing wholesome family entertainment, Aamir Khan’s “Delhi Belly” is touted as a bold experiment which will change and even re-define the concept of film making in India. Though it is a bold film, one should not expect any sex show.

Normally, film makers go to censor board hoping not to get an “A” certificate, because that would limit their audience. However, makers of this movie, approached straight away for an adult film certification, making sure kids don’t watch it because of the cuss words used. Now, that’s what we call Mr Responsible Khan!

Also, people averse to “disrespectful and unclean” language may also opt to stay out of theatres, warns the producer.

Already talked about for its loud and rage music and its expletive dialogues, “Delhi Belly” is a comedy (social or sex, u decide) about three Delhi based bachelor friends living individual lives and putting themselves in trouble and finding a way out of it.

Described as s flick for the young hearted, and with a sense of humour, the film is eagerly awaited by many.

The fact that “Delhi Belly” is special for Imran, speaks with the fact that he calls Delhi as his second home and has even shifted to a flat in South Delhi and stays there alone.

Whether this is a publicity stunt or not, one doesn’t know. But will this help the movie get the relevant audience, one yet needs to see.

But one thing is for sure, Mr Aamir Khan never disappoints, and that’s what prompts most of us to go and see his movies.
