Aur Pyaar Hogaya with Bobby Deol
Bobby Deol is amongst the best actors in Bollywood. Born as Vijay Singh Deol on 27 November 1969, he is the younger son of actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur. His brother is actor Sunny and his cousin is actor Abhay Deol. He has two sisters Ajita and Vijeyta as well as two half sisters from the gorgeous actress Hema Malini who his father re-married. They are Esha and Ahana Deol. Bobby has enjoyed marital bliss with his wife Tanya Ahuja with whom he has two sons. Their names are Aryaman and Dharam.
Unlike the other two Deol family men, Bobby chose not to limit his talent to playing only an action hero. He first appeared in Dharam Veer playing a young Dharam and then returned to the big screen in the movie Barsaat with Twinkle Khanna. After the release of the movie he was looked upon as the next heartthrob of Bollywood and had girls swooning over him with his unruly wavy curls and tall, slim physique. Bobby then had back to back hits with Gupt, Aur Pyaar Hogaya, Kareeb, Soldier and Dillagi.
He faced a series of box office duds but returned with a few successful movies 2001 onwards. The movies were Ajnabee, Humraaz, Apne, Naqaab, Heroes. He will next be seen in Formula No. 44, Gangs of London and Cheers. Bobby has always maintained a low profile by hardly getting into any controversies and has managed to keep away from the media glare avoiding unnecessary attention. Having tasted success early in his career especially in the nineties, the latter half of his career seems to be moving very slow. He is unfazed with the comparisons to his talented father and to his brother. Bobby’s talented performances will always be remembered and draw loyal fans to the cinema halls.
